Utility Bills

The Town of Trochu is responsible for billing of Water and Sewer Usage, Garbage Collection, and Recycling for all Trochu Residents.

Billing periods are once every two months with the bills being mailed out at the end of the period:

  • January/February
  • March/April
  • May/June
  • July/August
  • September/October
  • November/December.

Please note that the water meters are not read in December due to Holidays.  The November/December bills are based on an estimated usage for each individual property.  The water meters will be read again at the end of February and this will correct any discrepancies that may have occurred during the November/December billing period.

The Town of Trochu accepts cash, cheque, or debit payments at the office (222 Northfield Road) or online payments through your banking site. For online payments, you will find us listed as a payee under “Town of Trochu (Utilities)” or “Trochu, Town of (Utilities)”.

PLEASE NOTE: Utility account numbers are based on civic addresses and will change if you move. To ensure that your payment is applied to the right account, please make sure that the account number you use when making online payments matches the account number on your current bill.
